We draw inspiration from those around us. It is like that with everything- from how we talk, act, dress, and our overall outlook on the world. A motto I have always lived by is “Positivity breeds positivity” Surround yourself with positivity and positivity will surely come your way.
The same goes with fashion- we are influenced by all around us most especially the silver screen prior to the digital domination. Here are five silver screen fashionista looks of yesteryear I would totally rock today:

Simple white dress- classic but sexy and has stood the test of time.

This red dress is GOALS- all I need is a fancy event to wear it to.

Lace top- check. Pop of color to offset an all black outfit- check. Minimalist YET standout accessories- check. Looking like a TOTAL BAD-ASS- CHECK CHECK AND CHECK.
5. Lucy Liu Charlie’s Angels (2000)
While I would not wear leather on leather- I love a leather skirt pencil skirt and a collared shirt to change a work outfit from dowdy to dazzling. Who wouldn’t feel like a boss babe wearing this?
So get in your comfy sweats, put on Netflix, and have your credit card and phone handy- I know I will 🙂
